Buncheong Ware Flask with Sgraffito Wildflower Design
![]()
This is a flattened buncheong flask. There are three small chips at the mouth and some spots on the body where the glaze has flaked. The shoulder is encircled with a lotus-petal band and two ring lines, while the body bears a crosshatch lattice and grass-and-flower motifs carved freely and vigorously in the johwa (incising) technique. The foot retains marks of the sand spurs used to support it during firing.
