Buncheong ware flat jar with inlaid peony design

This flattened bottle (pyeonbyeong) has been reassembled from broken pieces, with about half remaining from the body down to the base. Roughly rounded-square in overall form, its outer surface is decorated with overlapping lotus-petal patterns, peony-branch motifs, and raindrop-like dot patterns. Each band of ornament is divided by six or seven horizontal lines; the glaze covers the whole except part of the interior but is uneven, and the color is a pale grayish blue.
