Gosan-ri-style Earthenware

This is a fragment of Gosan-ri-type pottery from the Neolithic period, excavated on Jeju Island. It is reddish-brown on both the inner and outer surfaces, with an everted rim and a flat lip. Fine sand and plant stems are mixed into the clay body.
