Korean Dancer
![]()
This is a multicolor woodblock print by the French artist Paul Jacoulet (1896-1960). It depicts a dancer wearing a jokduri (a traditional coronet) and draped in a long cloth, accompanied by a musician playing the daegeum (a large transverse bamboo flute) behind her. The artist's signature and seal appear at the center right, and the title "La danseuse coréenne" (The Korean Dancer) together with printing information is inscribed at the lower right. The edition number "47/300" printed at the lower left of the reverse shows that this was a limited-edition print.
